Deslocações

Deslocações attempts a view into the universe of domestic-workers in São Paulo and the relations these women set with their work environment, with the city, and with their sensitive memories. Starting from the idea of displacement – temporal, spatial, and sentimental – through the locations where these women transit, we did a collaborative documentary project. In the first stage, they have been photographed in their work locations, then they were invited to photograph their long daily displacements and, finally, in the last stage, they shared memories from the time they lived in the North of Brazil.
